Many problems can be tested for although the results will usually tell you about the dog at the time it is being tested.  Certain types of problems can be tested for before the symptoms are being seen (i.e. dysplasia, slipping stifles) but other problems may not show up with tests until the dog apparently has the problem. 

Testing is not a guarantee that every dog is healthy or incapable of producing some health problems in future progeny.  Testing for possible problems is but one tool to help the breeder produce a higher percentage of healthy dogs.  Genetics are not a finite science and “absolutes” are impossible to guarantee. 

We do health tests before breeding our dogs and strive to produce the healthiest dogs possible to ensure that you receive the puppy of your dreams.
